Welcome to the Sontronics Shop terms & conditions. The following information should give you all you need to know in relation to purchases made through our online store, but if you have any questions at all, please email orders@sontronics.com.
These Terms and Conditions will apply to all transactions placed online, over the telephone or by mail order with Sontronics Shop. Please read them carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights. By using this site you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
Online payment transactions
We are pleased to accept orders by online transaction via secure server.  All credit/debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Switch, Maestro, Solo and American Express. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder.
We aim to dispatch goods within 2 working days (this excludes weekends and UK bank holidays). If for any reason there is likely to be a delay in despatching your order, we will contact you directly so you are aware of the likely delivery date or you have the option to cancel your order.
If we are unable to ship either because our warehouse has to close or for reasons beyond our control, we will ensure this is communicated on our store website home page and on the product pages.
When entering your details, it is your responsibility to ensure that your delivery address is 100% correct, including your house name or number, your postcode and your country (using the dropdown). We cannot take responsibility for any items that aren't or can't be delivered due to your mistake in entering your address wrongly. If, when receiving your order confirmation, you notice that your details are incorrect, please email us immediately and we will attempt to update this in our system before your order is shipped.
Missing Delivery
If you have not received your parcel on the date it was scheduled to arrive, please first check around your house/garden and also with your neighbours, in case the courier has left the parcel somewhere else. The shipping agents that we use will not consider a parcel as lost until it has been missing for at least 30 days, but in the mean time, please rest assured that both we and the shipping agents will be working hard to find and redeliver your parcel.
Faulty/Damaged Items
Please ensure that you check all items on receipt of your order, as faulty or damaged items must be reported by email within 7 working days of receiving the parcel. Please see our Returns Policy for more information
Shipments returned to us
If your parcel is returned to us due to any of the following reasons – Unclaimed, Attempted - Not Known - Temporarily Away – Denied Due to Customs Charges - Incomplete/Insufficient Address - Undeliverable as Addressed - No Mail Receptacle - Prohibited Import by Customs - Denied Entry by Customs - Refused - Contacted but no reply/response – then we will contact you by email to let you know.
You then have the option of receiving a refund for the purchase price (less any shipping/duty/customs costs incurred by us on your behalf) or you can ask us to re-send the order, in which case you will be responsible for the new shipment costs.

Incorrect Address

If the shipping address and/or contact details on your order is/are incorrect or incomplete, please note that we cannot change these details after an order has been shipped. Furthermore, we cannot take responsibility for any transit delays, extra fees charged to you, loss of parcel or any other delivery issues, nor can we offer you a refund or free of charge replacement.

Domestic UK Shipping
For shipping within the UK, we use two different services.
1 - Express tracked 24 hour next working day delivery.
2 - Standard 2 - 3 day delivery.
Please note, these services are only available within the suggested delivery window if your order is placed and confirmed before 2pm.
International Shipping
Please note, we currently do not offer International shipping via our Shopify store. For any international enquiries, please contact us at orders@sontronics.com

Amendments and Cancellations
Amending Your Order
It is not possible for us to amend your order or shipping details after an order has been shipped. However, if you want to change or update anything in relation to your order, email orders@sontronics.com immediately and we will see what we can do.
Cancelling/Amending Your Order
If you've changed your mind about your order then you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days after the day you received the order BUT only if you have NOT used the microphone. In order to cancel an order, you should email orders@sontronics.com within that 14-day period.   
If you have received your order then you must return it to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of your order to us.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the products to us, and we recommend that you use an insured and tracked service as we will not be able to refund to you any items that do not reach us.

Products, Prices & Content
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the descriptions, technical specifications and information relating to all the products shown on our site are true and accurate, no responsibility is accepted for any errors or omissions. (Of course, if you spot anything that needs to be corrected, please contact us so we can put it right immediately!)
We work hard to ensure that the photos of all the products shown on the site are accurate, but we understand that these colours may render slightly differently on some screens, so we must point out that the actual colour of products in real life may vary slightly from what you see on screen.
All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are shown inclusive of VAT at UK rate of 20% for people using the website here in the UK. However, if you are viewing the website from anywhere else in the world, the prices you see will be shown exclusive of VAT. You should be aware that you may be charged your local rate of VAT at the point at which your order arrives in your country.
We charge the same price for all products shown on our website regardless of your location.
Gift Cards
Gift cards purchased on our website will be automatically delivered by email to the email address you specify at the time of your order. Please ensure that you enter the email address 100% correctly as we cannot be held responsible if the address is entered incorrectly and someone other than the intended recipient receives and then uses the card.
If buying the gift card for someone else, you can choose to enter your own email and then forward to them the email from us with the gift card link.
Sontronics gift cards include a unique code which is visible only to the recipient because gift cards are considered as legal currency.
Our gift cards can only be redeemed in the Sontronics Shop as full or part payment for listed products.
A gift card cannot be used to purchase a further gift card.
Gift cards are dated and expire 12 months from the date of issue.
Gift cardsards cannot be exchanged for cash.
If products purchased online with a gift card are returned to us and a refund requested, the refund will be given as a gift card.
You can check the balance of the gift card at any time by logging into your Sontronics Shop account (please note, this only applies if you have registered for an account).
We are not responsible if a Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.
Sontronics Shop does not have access to or keep your credit or debit card details on file. Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc. and your data is securely stored in Shopify’s own databases and the general Shopify application. All data is fully encrypted and stored on a secure server behind a firewall.
For our customers based in Europe, we have to inform you that a ruling by the European Court of Justice (ECJ) decided that the agreement (Safe Harbour Framework) which used to automatically allow the transfer of data between the EU and the US is no longer valid. Until this scheme is renegotiated, we are legally obliged to make you aware that, if based in the EU, you must consent to your information being transferred to the United States because that’s where Shopify (which hosts the Sontronics Shop) is based. By continuing with your purchase(s) you will be deemed to have given your consent.
If choosing a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify will store your credit card data, encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction and is then deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Age of Consent
By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
The content and photographs used on this website are owned or licensed to Sontronics/Omnisonic International Limited and are therefore should NOT be used without our permission. If you would like to make use of any pictures of our products shown on our Shop site or our main website, please contact us and we will confirm how you may do this and direct you to folders from which you can download hi-res versions 
We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. You agree that from time to time we may remove the service for indefinite periods of time or cancel the service at any time, without notice to you. You expressly agree that your use of or inability to use the service is at your sole risk. The service and all products and services delivered to you through the service are (except as expressly stated by us) provided 'as is' and 'as available' for your use, without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind.
In no case shall Sontronics Shop and/or Omnisonic International Limited, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility. Because some countries, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such countries, states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Sontronics Shop and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms & Conditions or the documents they incorporate by reference or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.
