IN EDUCATION

The Sontronics Education Partnership Programme helps to make our microphones and other audio products available to schools, colleges, universities and youth projects around the world.

We offer direct support to all our partners, we find solutions to allow our microphones to fit around your budgets and we always share and promote stories of how your institution and your students are using our mics, whether in the studio, for live gigs or stage productions.

In addition, our Sontronics team make regular visits to our partner schools and colleges (in person and virtually), to meet with students and staff, demonstrate miking techniques and give talks on microphone design and recording technology.

1. ABBEY ROAD INSTITUTE

We're extremely proud of our unique relationship with Abbey Road Institute and the studios next door where we beta-test all our new prototypes. We deliver regular workshops and talks to the Institute students, both in person and remotely via our multi-camera studio set-up

2. UNIVERSITY OF CHICHESTER

Chichester Uni has the largest collection of Sontronics mics in the world (after our own HQ, that is). We give regular talks and workshops to students, offer work experience placements and liaise with head lecturer and composer Stephen Baysted on course content.

3. DARK HORSE INSTITUTE, NASHVILLE

The legendary Dark Horse Studios, where Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and many more have recorded and written, is now home to the Dark Horse Institute, whose students have access to a huge collection of Sontronics mics and where we give regular seminars and hands-on sessions.
