Klinsmann is a Maltese singer-songwriter, musician and producer with a career spanning more than 20 years. He began performing at the Masquerade Theatre & Arts School at age ten, later developing into a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter with guidance from Maltese jazz musician Chris Spiteri.

Alongside his writing and production work, Klinsmann has become closely connected with Sontronics microphones. He uses SOLO for his live shows, and records with the ARIA 2 and SATURN 2 at Lito’s Place Studio in Malta. The mics have naturally become part of his vocal and acoustic sound, both in the studio and on stage.

He first rose to national attention between 2003 and 2005 as a finalist in the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest. At sixteen, he placed third in the 2007 Malta Eurovision Song Contest with She Gives Me Wings, beginning a seven-year run of consecutive finals appearances.

In 2014, Klinsmann formed the alternative rock band Planet Seed, earning multiple chart successes including a five-week No.1 with It’s Gonna Be Ok. Their follow-up singles and European touring helped establish them as one of Malta’s notable modern rock acts.

Between 2019 and 2022, he broadened his international reach through collaborations in Los Angeles, Berlin, London and Liverpool before setting up his own Monkey Wrench Studios. His double album Chaos & Cadence (2025) marks a significant milestone in his evolution as a writer, performer and producer.
