From supporting the likes of Tom Jones, George Benson, Michael Bublé and Céline Dion to performing at some of Europe's best-known venues, British singer-songwriter Jazz Morley has built an impressive career doing what she loves.
Jazz has been writing songs and performing since leaving school, with appearances at L'Olympia in Paris, Ronnie Scott's in London and the Royal Albert Hall, which remains her favourite venue to have performed in.
More recently, Jazz has been focusing on her own music, having written and recorded a new album with producer and guitarist Ben Jones, who has worked with artists including Tom Jones and Jacob Collier. The album has been a little while in the making, but Jazz is now hoping to release it in spring 2027.
Based in Frome, Somerset, Jazz is lucky to have plenty of talented musicians on her doorstep. She regularly collaborates with her husband, Daniel Bingham, musical director and drummer for James Arthur, who has also worked with Dua Lipa and The Streets. The local music scene also includes the likes of drummer Jeremy Stacey and guitarist Scott McKeon, two musicians Jazz speaks particularly highly of, both for their playing and simply being great people to make music with.
When it comes to performing live, Jazz has found a microphone that suits her voice and has stuck with it. The Sontronics SOLO has become her go-to microphone, accompanying her to every gig.
"I use my Sontronics SOLO at every gig and love it. It's perfect for my voice – much more dynamic and full bodied than an SM58 but at the same price-point."
Jazz regularly gets compliments on her sound, and people are often surprised when they find out that it's British-made mic!
