Its
sturdy central post extends by way of quick-release/quick-lock
clips to 1.7 metres and is internally damped to support
heavy loads. Its telescopic boom arm, attached to the main
stand with a heavy-duty ABS clamp extends from 1.2 metres
to 2.25 metres and is counterbalanced by a moveable cast-iron
weight.
The
Matrix10 comes with a separate dolly cart that transforms
it into a mobile stand.
The dolly can be fitted to the tripod in seconds thanks
to its simple adjusting clamps, adding 10cm to the overall
height of the stand. Each wheel has a foot-operated brake
to provide optimum stability. When not in use, the wheels
fold up to be stored in the rugged canvas bag.
